Cat Motion builds camera-motion hardware for virtual production and broadcast studios. We spend our days on stages where tracking has to be right on the first take, and our products are born from the gaps we kept running into.

The Lift, our first product, exists because moving a PTZ camera vertically should not mean losing clean tracking. One column, one genlocked FreeD signal, no stitching.

Why the cat? Cats move with precision, land softly and are impossible to ignore. That felt about right.
